Home Offices Are Trending

Guess what? These days offices aren’t just for the rich and famous, CEO’s or Secretaries any more. Offices can be right in our homes and as unique as you are! Especially when you choose a fitted home office, where every detail can be just the way you want it to be!
So in order to have a functioning, efficient office in your home, you need to build a productive space. Fitted home offices can vary by your profession. For instance, somebody creative like a graphic designer is obviously going to need a lot more room for drawing and such than somebody like an accountant might need, so you need to think carefully and wisely about the furniture in your fitted home office.

You should always make sure that your fitted home office expresses not only your career or your profession, but most importantly your personality. Your fitted home office should be somewhere that you will like to be inside and a place where you will enjoy spending your time, whether you’re actually working or not! Home offices are fantastic places to spend time and work without having to leave your family, your home, or your pyjamas!

Another important part of your home office is making sure that you can invite clients in case you absolutely had to. That means no crumpled bags of chips and clothes all over the place. You should take care of your home office like it was a real office, one that your boss or employer can see! It should reflect on you, and you should appear organized, fresh and capable. That’s what we all want, right?

Design Your Home Office

Of course, your office can still be personal. It is a part of your home after all. So that means you can keep your family photos and display any drawings or cards that you want to. We’re human after all!! If you opt to have bespoke fitted home office furniture you can choose exactly the style you want. Just imagine warm latte gloss filing cabinets with matching bookcases and beautiful pewter door handles. Or a more traditional rich oak desk with matching shelves. You won’t get that on the high street with a bit of flat pack.
As far as paint and decor, your home office should still be a little sophisticated with a warm palette that won’t distract you too much! Hanging a few framed posters and or pieces of artwork that are personal to you and your lifestyle are some of the easiest ways to transform a room!

With these easy tricks and tips of mine, you can have a great home office in no time!
